This comb is a replica of the archeological find at Vimose, Denmark. This original comb was discovered on the island of Funen and is the oldest known datable runic inscription ever discovered from about 160ce.
The Elder Futhark runes say "Harja", which is believed to be the name or title of the person who owned it. It is made from cattle bone making it strong and durable enough to last another 1900 years!
