Ulfberht Sword Replica – Blade & Sheath
Step into the world of Viking warriors and medieval power with this ornamental replica of the legendary Ulfberht Sword, one of the most iconic weapons of the Viking and late Iron Age. Discovered in over 170 archaeological finds across Northern Europe, Ulfberht swords were elite weapons forged between the 9th and 11th centuries and marked by the famed inscription:
+VLFBERH+T or +VLFBERHT+
Our Ulfberht sword faithfully reproduces the inscription, blade shape, and sheath style of these renowned historical weapons. While the originals likely originated from the Rhineland region of the Frankish Empire, they were most commonly found in Northern Europe and Viking lands, making them prized possessions of elite Norse warriors.
⚠️ Please note: This Ulfberht replica is mainly for ornamental use. Although durable, it is made in India as a budget-friendly collector’s alternative to our higher end swords made by world renowned blacksmiths in the Czech republic. Although all of the other swords we carry are meant for HEMA or Buhurt competition, this Ulfberht sword is primarily ornamental and sparring with it is not advised.
