Norse Pendants from the Vendel Period

This Norse pendant is a replica of the archaeological find from Uppland, Sweden, dated to the Vendel Period, just before the viking age. Believed to depict Odin, this figure features a distinctive horned helmet, a hallmark often seen in Norse art representing the Allfather. Similar horned headgear is shown on the Torslunda plates, which may have been ceremonial headdresses worn to lead berserkers into battle, or symbolic representations of Odin’s ravens, Huginn and Muninn.

The original artifact is kept at in the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, but now you can wear a faithful Norse pendant inspired by this powerful symbol. Its compact size makes it ideal to wear on a chain or carry in your pocket as a charm.

In Viking spiritual life, statues and amulets were believed to attract the presence or favor of the gods. Crafted with historical precision, this piece brings the spirit of Odin and his wisdom to those who honor the old ways.
