Norse God Statue from Viking Age Sweden
This viking statuette is a replica of the Odin figure discovered in Skåne, Sweden, dating to the Viking Age. Believed to be one of only two surviving statues of Odin, this rare artifact shows the Allfather missing his right eye, a reference to the myth where Odin sacrifices his eye in exchange for wisdom.
The original Norse God statue is currently on display at the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, but now you can bring home your own handcrafted replica, made in Sweden with care and historical accuracy.
In the viking Age, idols and statuettes were deeply embedded in spiritual practices. They weren’t seen as mere symbols, but as potential vessels for divine energy. If properly crafted and honored, the presence of the god could inhabit the statue itself. This bronze Odin figure continues that legacy for modern practitioners, collectors, and Norse history enthusiasts.
