Full sized spear inspired by Gungnir- the Spear of Odin

Unleash the power of myth with our Viking Age Spear inspired by Odin's legendary  Gungnir. In Norse mythology, Gungnir was the weapon of Odin, the Allfather god, which was said to never miss its mark when thrown. Forged by the dwarves, the most skilled smiths in the Nine Realms, this spear symbolizes power & wisdom.

The runes carved on the spear come from a viking age skaldic poem (ragi inn gamli Boddason, Fragments 4) and are as follows:

ᚢᚬᚠᛅᚦᛅᚱ ᚴᚢᚾᚴᚾᛁᛋ- váfaðar Gungnis

"The swinger/brandisher of Gungnir"(referring to Odin)

This weapon with a 8" spearhead and totaling 66" long, is hand forged in the traditional way by crafters in the Czech Republic who are word renown for their blacksmithing skill. Whether you're a collector, reenactor, or history enthusiast, this  weapon embodies the spirit of the ancient warriors. It offers exceptional detail, historical accuracy, and superior craftsmanship, making it the perfect piece for any Viking collection.
