This Germanic Ring Pommel Sword Replica, also known in German as a Ringknaufschwert, is a fully functional weapon inspired by a long tradition of ring-pommel swords used across Germanic and Northern European cultures. The tradition is even echoed in early Germanic literature — the Beowulf poem uses the term hring-mæl, meaning “ring-sword.”
