Sun Wheel Pendant NO (Bronze)

The "Sun Wheel" or "Solhjulet" as this symbol is called in Scandinavia seems to be one of the most important and sacred symbols of ancient humans living in the north of Europe. Although we are not sure about the original meaning or even name of this ancient symbol, it pops up on some of the oldest rock carvings and jewelry that we still have existing today in Scandinavia.

This necklace is designed and produced in Norway by a family owned jewelry maker, based on the archaeological finds going as far back as the Bronze Age.
