Icelandic Sheep Hide(White)
Icelandic Sheep Hide(White)
In the viking age, animal skins were possibly the most valued and often traded goods. These were not only for practical use such as warmth, decoration, crafting into clothing or accessories, or collected and traded for a profit, but there was also a spiritual element to these skins. In the Norse beliefs, this was called the "Hamr."
These sheep hides with beautiful, long, silky white hair are imported from Iceland. Hair length varies from 4" to 6" and whole black Icelandic Sheep Hides average 6-7 square feet.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Roll up to store instead of folding. Keep hide in a cool and dry area when not in use. Avoid sun exposure and heated floors for long periods of time.
CLEANING: Vacuum clean on lowest power and work carefully. Cleaning should be done about once a year.
