Viking Tricep Ring Inspired by Dragon Ship Art
This viking upper arm ring is a faithful reconstruction based on the legendary Oseberg ship burial, discovered in Tønsberg, Norway and dated to the viking age. The design draws inspiration from the dragon heads carved into the Oseberg ship, as a tricep ring that captures the bold artistry of Norse craftsmanship.
Unlike standard wrist armrings, this version is longer and more flexible, designed to be worn around the upper arm or triceps, just as it would have been over 1,000 years ago.
In Norse culture, armrings were more than decorative, they served as symbols of loyalty, oaths, wealth, and spiritual power, and are mentioned frequently throughout the sagas.
