The spear of Odin named "Gungnir" directly translated from Old Norse means "The swaying one." This necklace is designed and produced by a family owned jewelry maker in Norway based on art and archaeological finds from the Viking age. Gungnir jewelry was not worn nearly as much in the viking age as Thor's hammers for example, but spears and staffs had other ornamental and ritual uses possibly to imitate one of the most important weapons in Norse Mythology!
